Peter's Y10 Turbo is one of the earliest cars in the UK (unless you know better of course), indeed it's sister car B331XKM was the car tested by Motor magazine back in 1985. Already a well known on the Lancia scene, veteran of Lancia Motor Club track days, Saturday 6 february 1999 was a big day for this little car. Already replesdent in the bluey-purple paint with 15" Compomotive wheels, and THAT yellow stripe, this was the day the Y10 grew up. The day started like most other days - OK, Peter arriving at my house at 7:30am is not so normal, we arrived at the scene of the crime (my parents' house - better garage facilities!) by 8:00am. Now follow us through the day as this little Y10 is given the best present of all - 140bhp Y10 Turbo engine, Leda adjustable dampers and a one-off Willwood based 4-pot front disc kit. If these items seem familiar, that's because they have all come out of my car since my change of plans. |
