Thankfully, the weather was kind to us - it was actually sunny although the temperature was about 7 degrees C. Work commenced. We parked up the car outside the garage so we could drain the cooling system using the time honoured method of undoing the radiator hoses! The bonnet was removed, the headlamps, grille and radiator all came off as one complete assembly - Peter has this exercise perfected he has done it so many times. Off came the bumper and already this Y10 was looking a lot less pristine.
