Why I own one
Look up the word fanatic in a dictionary and it should read 'see Paul Guinness'. He's utterly obsessed with baby Lancias, having owned this '86 Touring since new. "I couldn't bear to part from my Y10 - ever," explains the Stourbridge journalist. "It was my first brand new car and even now it's still so usable. It'll cruise effortlessly at 85-90mph and is just so comfortable I used it every day for several years but it now lives a more pampered existence".
Paul is surprised at the lack of recognition for the Y10. "It's been 14 years since Lancia launched it in Britain and it's amazing how many people still don't have a clue what it is, which is part of its appeal. And with values of early Y10s at an all time low, I can't imagine a more affordable first time classic".
