I joined Currys to carry out work on their ICL DME system whilst their staff were converting the ICL system to IBM. The majority of work done here was in the area of Stock Control and Sales Reporting, involving both the writing of new suites of programs, and also the maintenance of existing processes. High analytical content was involved as most work carried out involved a verbal outline specification leading to investigation by myself to ascertain any areas affected by the requirements, and the updating/providing of documentation to suit.
