Here's a closer look at that inner panel. The grey bits are the new metal, welded into place to give something to weld the suspension turrets to! Its a lot thicker gauge than the stuff the rest of the body is made from, but then it will have to cope with the suspension loads, so it needs to be. The turret has been slotted in where the inner wheel arch section used to go - shame I had the nice new panels fitted before my change of plans!
