Approximately 30 cars were imported and converted by Radbourne before official RHD imports started at the end of 1976. Sales started at £2998, fully £500 dearer than the Radbourne car had been. To offset this price increase, the standard specification of the official car included 3 spoke alloy wheels with 165/70x13 tyres, tinted glass, front fog lamps, a large black plastic front spoiler and those black ladder stripes along the sides.
The Fiat conversion to RHD missed out on a couple of small details. The two rear compartments were opened by chrome levers situated in the left hand door jamb, and the front bonnet released by a lever under the dashboard, also on the left side. These items were not moved for the RHD market necessitating a trip round the car for any driver wishing to open one of these compartments.
The interiors of the early cars included seats trimmed in colours complimentary to the exterior colour (orange, blue or green cloth) with a rainbow stripe running down the centre of the seats. All cars came with a black lift-out 'targa' roof that fitted sideways under the front bonnet, above the luggage.
